Foire de Saint Ours 2023

On 30th and 31st January 2023 the 1023 edition of the Sant’Orso Fair returns, which has hosted artisans and exhibitors since its origins in the city of Aosta.

Its birth, to be placed around the year 1000, merges with the legend of the homonymous saint, who donated in that period to the poorest clothes and the typical footwear called “sabot”, still one of the symbols of the fair.

The “Foire de Saint Ours”, as it is still called today, will take place over two days in the main squares of Aosta: those of Chanoux and Plouves. There you will find the Atelier de Metiers, a space dedicated to professional artisans of tradition and the food and wine pavilion of Aosta Valley companies.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet more than a thousand exhibitors and take part in musical and typical folklore events, immersed in the city of Aosta.

The event will be closed by the artist Katia Perret, who will perform at the Teatro Splendor on January 31st at 8.30pm. Her concert entitled “Le fil du temps” will feature songs in the patois language, the Aosta Valley dialect.

Snow!

After weeks of waiting, it’s finally here! Snow had been so far largely absent on the slopes of Champoluc and throughout the Ayas Valley.

A few centimetres were enough to warm up mountain lovers. Despite days with above-average temperatures, the winter season that has started has been able to count, since its opening, on excellent attendances thanks to the costant work of the entire Monterosa Ski group.

The facilities, with its well-groomed slopes and the snow that frames magical landscapes, are ready to welcome you and offer you an unforgettable experience!

Ice Waves Experience – Alessandro Martire

 

On December 27, Ayas becomes the perfect location for the Ice Waves Experience, the high-altitude music concert by Alessandro Martire. The pianist, known for the mastery during his performances in the midst of nature, is known for enchanting his audience in unusual and breath-taking settings.

 

The event will take place at Alpe Metsan in collaboration with the La Tchavana farmhouse, where it will be possible to enjoy an aperitif with local products, by reservation.

Discover Autumn in MonteRosa

This year we have decided to keep the hotel open also in Autumn period.

Autumn is one of the most beautiful seasons of the year  for different reasons :

-In Autumn you can observe different animals like marmots and  deers  located in beautiful sceneries

-The trees are painted of different warm  colors like yellow ,red and orange

-The weather is very enjoyable and you can make a lot of excursions

Yoga Monterosa Estate 2017

Il Progetto Yog@Monterosa nasce dall’idea di promuovere la pratica dello yoga nella cornice del Monterosa, insieme a una più ampia cultura del benessere, fatta di camminate e di sport all’aria aperta. Tre insegnanti di yoga (Corinne, Martina e Marzia)hanno unito le forze per proporre, durante tutta l’ estate, un calendario di attività eccezionale, che permette a tutti di continuare o provare per la prima volta la pratica dello Yoga nelle sue più diverse espressioni.
